BAT USA has continued to expand its long and historical presence in the American market in order to consolidate and enhance its expansion. This challenging target is achievable in various ways: a strong policy to acquire new customers and the consolidation of the old giving greater help, better products and a constant field support and co-marketing activities. With the clear intent to facilitate the distribution, in the 3rd quarter of 2014, it opened a new plant in Ontario (California) to be even faster in delivery to our dealers on the West Coast and provide a local technical and marketing support. Another important investment to optimize our operations has been achieved with the contextual introduction (both in Chester and Ontario) of the bar code warehouse management, so as to minimize the possibility of errors and increase the logistics performance in terms of time to deliver. We have also worked hard to improve the functionality of the packaging to avoid any transportation problem or scratch avoiding useless cost.
